Ebook: The Solstice Conspiracy

The Challenge

Lee Rawn wrote a novel for her daughter, a fantasy adventure called The Solstice Conspiracy. After unsuccessfully seeking an agent and a publisher, Lee put the novel in the a drawer and forgot about it. The path to self publishing was still too new to seem viable and independent authors had not yet begun to realize the opportunities.

The Solution

Lee Rawn engaged Lightspeed Publishing to create an ebook version of her novel. Lightspeed performed a full copy edit and proofing, formatted the book in InDesign for output to both Kindle and CreateSpace (print-on-demand) versions, produced an .epub version for Barnes and Noble placement, and then worked together over the next few months to create an audiobook version, which was then distributed to audible.com and several other distributors. The audiobook version is also available directly from the author’s site using Ganxy.
